Your Accountants came to us asking us to help with the new logo and branding for their new business, they business consisted of two highly qualified business partners and a small team of accountants. At first they did not have a name for the business and in our first meeting we discussed possible names that were suitable. A week later Ivan (one of the business owners) came back to me with the name “Your Accountants”, they wanted to portray a modern and approachable accountancy practice, and still remain professional, and the name fit the bill quite well.
To match this, they needed a sleek and minimalist logo with bold typography and a subtle colour palette so they could project professionalism while still feeling fresh and modern. The colours were actually decided before the design and they were Orange, a very dark grey and white. We did this because we wanted the branding to be versitle, but also be very recognisable and stand out. The bright orange that we selected being offset by the grey and/or white, would help us to accomplish that.
The logo was split into two elements, the first being the main logo, that would be for primary use and the second was the logomark, this was to be used in a more subtle way to keep the branding in mind without overwhelming the media that it was being used with.
We were also asked to produce a series of branding materials to go alongside the logo as well as provide the branding guidelines for their employees. So once the logo was complete we developed a full set of branding guidelines, this was a 40-page book showing the correct usage of the company logo and branding. The guide includes the complete typography, colours, linebreak guide, positioning guide, brand elements, as well as vehicle livery and uniforms design.
The guide can be provided to the in house marketing team as well as any new staff that are brought into the team.
We also designed the business stationery, which included business cards, letterheads, banners and compliment slips.

It wasn’t just the finished articles that I was impressed with but the journey you took us on. From the beginning it was clear that you had a good idea what we wanted and your natural flair and creativity resulted in multiple ideas of where we could go. All the draft logos were great and I liked how you had different ideas around what we could do. The fact you did multiple variations before we got to the final logo shows that your attention to detail is second to none.
