For Howe Consultancy we needed to build the website with Joanne as the focal point, the reason being is people hire Howe Consultancy specifically for Joanne and her skillset.
We used as many professional photographs of Joanne as possible throughout the site, as well as embedding the promotional video on the home page. Each of the services that Joanne offers were highlighted with her brand, giving a different colour to each.
Joanne wanted to go with the theme of “thinking outside of the box” or what is sometimes known as “blue-sky thinking”, as this is a major part of her business. We decided to use ubiquitous design and place beautiful photographs of clear blue skies throughout the website, so when someone was on the site, they would subconsciously associate that with Joanne.
Testimonials were essential for Joanne’s website because we needed to instil confidence in Joanne and her professional skills in order for people to make contact. We strategically placed them around the website in order to do that.
