We worked closely with Chris throughout this project because the website really had to reflect him and his skills as a professional photographer and photography trainer. He wanted the website to offer exclusive content to his clients that would be drip-fed to them from the day they joined the site in a scheduled format. Chris also wanted to sell and promote his workshops via the website, building the website during lockdown meant that we had to incorporate a facility that allowed Chris to sell virtual tickets to his video conference based workshops.
With that in mind, we included an online store in order to incorporate everything that Chris needed, from selling the workshops to giving his members exclusive content. With Chris being not only the face of the business but also a highly successful photographer, we needed the website to be very visual in its focus, we achieved this through utilising Chris’ own photography work and behind the scenes photos.
Chris is constantly evolving and growing his business, so he needed his website to do the same, the introduction of the member’s section, which Chris has named the “Learn to Light Academy” needed to be seamless, handle subscription payments and give different levels of access depending on what level the customer had chosen to purchase. Again we achieved this by working closely with Chris, with him creating the content and us focusing on aligning the membership platform to drip-feed said content at the correct time.
For us, this was a very enjoyable project to work on and it was a pleasure to work closely with Chris Ord throughout it.
I’ve worked with Steve on several projects to supply photography for his amazing web design work. He is meticulous in his design, extremely creative and always has new and interesting ideas.
Without a doubt the best web designer I’ve worked with.
